I am against this ordinance being passed. It would deeply affect a positive influence that our children, teens and communities need!

Predator of the Heart is an organization with many contributions to society. What I respect most about POTH is that they would never place their love of work, or animals above the safety of the men, women or children who benefit from their program. I have personally benefited from this program and have witnessed others benefit as well. I strongly support Dave Coleburn and love this program.

I am a strong animal rights believer...these animals should be left where they are unless someone can prove they are INDEED a danger. This is something that, in their bids for superiority, people are trying to shove down the collective public's throat.

This is for education and research. We need more of this in our communities! This program educates the importance of wildlife I a world that is destroying it. This is not animal hoarding, this program deserves to stay!

The educational expearience preditors of the heart brings to the communitee is awsome.I have known Dave for years and his love and care for these animals is huge ,and as for safteyI would not hesitate to leave my 6 grandchildren in Daves care while he fed his wild animals.I would chalenge all of you trying to pass this ordinance to watch the show POTH puts on with 200 students in the audiance, then after the show explain your draft odinance and your chapter 16.30 and tell them what you plan to do with these 30 beautiful animals.

Dear Commissioners, It has come to my attention that you are considering prohibits ownership of potentially dangerous wild animals. Causing David Coleburn and Predators of the Heart to cease doing business will do nobody any good but will cause many harm. If you have not seen what David does with his animal show… check it out before you destroy it. Because, he does it to show children and young people how awesome these predators are and then he brings it around to show how powerful drugs and alcohol abuse can become an alluring predator of your heart. I believe he has helped many chose a better road. The great part is there is no down side. He has never had an animal hurt someone. Please make a wise choice and vote to keep Predators of the Heart around. You never know… It might be David and his animals that help someone dear to you from a future of addiction and abuse. Thank You, Doug Wight 425.770.2813

David has shown for years now that he a responsible owner of his animals at Predators of the Heart and should be allowed to have his animals remain on his property. The animals are not dangerous and this has been proven by the countless shows presented with children, adults, and many community organizations. These animals have been raised by David's love and respect for the animals. Predators of the Heart is a valuable teaching tool for humans to get up close to them and learn about their behaviors. I have been to a Predators of the Heart show in my home town and it is the best ai have seen. I was never scared or worried about being harmed by the animals. David showed great control at all times and was gentle and loving with the animals. I believe that the community and outside communities as well would continue to benefit from Predators of the Heart.

POTH is a valued, safe and important sanctuary. It should remain protected by its present grandfather clause. I am against this new ordinance.

If they were "constantly escaping", the USDA would have pulled his license long before now for inadequate containment.

George- if you knew your facts POTH has NEVER traded animals. Also, you would know that WA state has already passed a law about ownership of exotic animals and we are grandfather clause in. You posted our tax returns so you know the truth...It cost $80,000 a year to run our organization and our tax returns do not come near that.. We don't do what we do for the money or we would have a beautiful big house out there with guards with guns for security to guard our gold mind. We are in it to change young peoples lives and take in animals that have been placed in a sanctuary and NEVER used at our programs. Animals have come to us from pierce county police department, herpes societies, and the FBI drug busts. Slander and fear tactic is being documented.
