They really did this? This is disgusting. What do they do with all their sewage and garbage in their current facility -- from what I have seen they don't have any water, power or sewer?

Mr Coleburn should be ashamed of breeding wolf-dogs -- Google the Dog Whisperer and take a look at one of his National Geographic shows where he tells why they should not be created and the dangers of their ownership...

This isn't one person - it is an entire community who are getting tired of this kind of behavior. Have you seen the movie Blackfish? Society is changing its opinion about organizations who exploit animals, even for supposed "education" purposes. Google "Charity for a Cause" and see what the US Humane Society has to say about this...

If this was true, why did they receive 97 pages of citations in violation of the City of Anacortes animal control ordinances? Ask the animal control officer who had to retrieve one the wolf-dogs who escaped (Coleburn called it a German-Shephard mix) -- look at what it did to the animal control vehicle? And you feel safe?

If you knew the law (which you don't) the USDA doesn't regulate native species -- the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife does. POTH has received a criminal citation from WDFW for breeding cougars with is illegal -- see RCW 16.30.030

The US Humane Society has taken an official position that wolf-dogs should not be bred and should not be in private ownership. 60% of lthem according to the Humane Society end up as wards of the state -- why is POTH breeding them? I can tell you why --- $$$

So what about the rights of the neighbors who have to put up with this business next door -- howling animals; escaped animals; flying raw meat; constant stream of visitors, etc -- what rights do they have? Laws wouldn't be needed if POTH would spot taking away of the property rights of those around them!

The proposed county regulations would allow POTH to continue operating, but under a much clearer legal framework. They don't want this because they have been skirting & flaunting the law for so long -- but don't take my word for it, read the police and WDW reports and decide for yourself...

Yes - awesome work spreading the remains of 4000lbs of raw and spoiled meat around the neighborhood in which they operate without a license, excellent work!

We agree -- POTH must be saved from themselves. Have you seen the picture of them keeping a big cat in their motel room on their facebook page with the caption -- "if only they knew"? Exactly, if only the maid knew, if only the paramedic knew, if only the management knew -- how can they be considered a legitimate business serving the public when they do this?

I think you are mis-informed -- POTH has a long history of violating our existing laws an is perpetuating the belief that it is okay to keep and maintain wild animals. And by the way -- if the enclosures are so well made why are the animals constantly getting out?

The Coleburn's need to start obeying the law -- go to www.skagit-animal-ordinance.org and read the list of criminal violations they have had over the last few years. They are teaching people that it is okay to ignore the law, to say nothing of the impact they are having on the neighborhood where they have landed - all without a permit.

Then you are supporting a ministry who operates a business in a residential area without a license; who flaunts laws; who is teach people that it is okay to exploit wild animals and own them -- its time for POTH to tell the truth!
