Wild animals should be free to live and if POTH is doing a good job of keeping them safe, let it be. No animal lover will forgive those passing the law.
Let them continue where they are, and if surrounding areas need this type of new regulation then do that but grandfather in the existing business at minimum.

Leave them grandfathered in. Maybe arrange a deal to make sure everything is up to code but respect the grandfathered in status. Neighbors whining about howling is ridiculous. Where I live that's normal, you don't see any cry babies trying to get Skagit County to hunt down all the animals that make noise. And they're "afraid to let their children play unattended" good, you should be keeping an eye on them anyways. Grow up.

I understand the need for control on this issue, but we must also consider the outcome for the animals. If this ordinance is passed, we should have a course of action for the welfare of these animals. If the habitat they are currently in, is a safe, caring, and nuturing environment; it would be irresponsible to exclude that key factor in making a decision. Put your heads together on this and make it an outcome to have pride in.

We must protect these animals, not destroy even more of them. Allow this refuge to continue providing for them.
