The Soup was popular even here in Brazil. Me and my friends have been watching it for years and I'll miss it terribly. It's a loss to pop culture.

I have been watching this show since the days when it was Talk Soup, and I was devastated when I heard the announcement. This show is a benchmark for popular culture, and it was my window to the world of stupidity. I feel a little lost without it, and the internet component saved me from all the other sites that try but cannot compete. At least tell us why it had to go (was it Secrest, or the Kardashians who made this happen). I'm working a degree that takes on a different aspect of popular culture, so this was a way to keep up without losing too much time for my own studies. Please, bring it back!

NBC has cancelled The Soup, Community, The Office, 40 Rock as well as Parks and Rec. For almost a decade my Thursday night was 100% NBC related shows. Now I don't watch any shows, not out of a boycott, but siply because nothing else exists. I personally find NBC to be a terrible company that makes terrible decisions. Why scrap my Thursday night to bring new programs such as The Voice, just move my shows to a Friday or something. There are thousands of hours of unused time, filled with trash and reruns. Their TV budget is a joke. They cancel shows like Heroes then bring it back. NBC is the biggest joke on their network now that their comedies are dead.
