Veterans died to preserve the rights of some morons that want to dishonor them? How about the property owners sell it to an American Legion/VFW post for $1.00. Then it's on private property with no recourse by the morons that seeks its destruction and protected by the 1st Amendment.

This is a monument to ALL military enlisted men from Prince George"s County who died in World War 1.

Those 49 men whose name is on the cross never offended anyone,, they served their country and made the ultimate sacrifice, they deserve to be honored.

This monument is a symbol of service members who lost their lives. In no way, shape or form does this "ENDORSE" religion. Show me one person who has been converted to religion because of this symbol in the last 90 years.

Seems to me freedom of religion dorsn’t Necessarily mean no religion? It’s a cross! Does this ultimately mean the letter “t” will eventually be stricken as well?

As a retired US Army Non-Commissioned Officer with 20 plus years of service, I think it is time to stop this crazy P.C. nonsense and stop removing monuments that take the shape of a cross. I am a graduate of Bladensburg Senior High School and the Peace Cross is a part of our history.

Please leave the Peace Cross alone. It is a monument to the brave for defending our country. It is an endorsement of patriotism - not of religion.
