This museum pales in its support of the community - the Boys and Girls Club offers what is needed and wanted. This will be remembered at the voting booth.

Need service in this area to help with after school care. Not sure what the motivation is from our elected board to stop this service.

If our city has tax dollars to fund the chamber of commerce’s Ranchofest party. Then the B & G club should be funded as well
It’s money well spent keeping our kids in a safe environment after school.

The social impact of Boys and Girls Clubs is irrefutable; they provide a safe space for kids to play, grow and learn and they are a vital resource for working families. But there is also an economic impact that should not be ignored. By enabling parents to work, clubs increase family incomes. For every $1 spent by clubs, the annual incomes of parents are increased by up to $9.60. And, as employers who also purchase goods and services, clubs generate millions of dollars throughout the state every year. Clubs also help avert costly social problems like teen pregnancy and juvenile crime by keeping kids occupied and focused on positive activities after school. The benefits of maintaining a Boys and Girls Club in our community far outweigh whatever benefit the city council thinks a museum would provide in that space. The Boys and Girls Club must stay!

I grew up at a Boys and girls club most of my child hood and they were the greatest memories I have. My parents worked form sun up till sun down and the club was all my brother and I knew growing up.

Please reconsider keeping the boys and girls club in the bell tower- the kids deserve a safe place to go after school! Find another location for the museum or whatever you have planned. There is plenty of vacant real estate here in RSM!

Our daughter went to the Boys and Girls Club after school here for years.
It is an important part of the community’s future to have safe, affordable, educational after-school programs for kids.
