Grover Beach is so fortunate to be the home of Coastal Dance and Music Academy and the non-profit Coastal Performing Arts Foundation. Both are tremendous assets to the community. It's inconceivable that the city would consider placing marijuana-based businesses in proximity to family-friendly entities. This simply cannot happen. Find a more suitable location.

Please place dispensaries in appropriate settings. Allowing dispensaries near complexes, venues, and other family friendly, kid friendly, is likened to next schools. Please support our children in a positive manner, while they are growing up.

While some may argue there is a place for this kind of business, it certainly isn't next to where children and families are spending time. There's a reason dispensaries aren't allowed this close to schools. This should be a safety decision, not a financial one. Please reconsider.

CDMA is the home away from home for many children and their families. A dispensary is no more suitable there than a liquor store. There are plenty of other buildings/vacant lots where this type of business can be located. Please help us stop the deep pockets of this enterprise and sign!

My daughter does gymnastics at Pacific Flips. It's a complex where tons of kids and families go. Allowing this would change everything. Though the argument is that it's "medicinal," dispensaries seem to bring in a lot of unsavory characters that you wouldn't want hanging around with a bunch of kids. Horrible idea, just horrible

Cdma is my daughter's home away from home. Please do not allow marijuana to be sold in this area of Grover Beach. The city's quest for revenue should not come at the expense of the safety of our children. Our children are the future of this country. Please use your leadership positions to show the children of our community that you value them more than marijuana cash flow for the city by striking down the decision to sell marijuana in this part of Grover Beach. Thank you.

This isn't not for the better interest of the community and I stand against this move to bring in a dispensary.

A medical marijuana dispensary should not be permitted next to a dance and theater arts school. The two are not compatible. Put it elsewhere in the city.

The neighborhood has too many young families with kids too close to the facility.

There is the greatest resource for the culture of central coast and invaluable opportunities for families in the Coastal Dance and Music Academy ALONE. Please find another area to locate the dispensary...your city cannot afford to lose these businesses!

The Huston St complex with CDMA and Pacific Flips is a great place for our community, especially families and children. The clientele of the area is mostly children. There are not that many children's facilities locally. There are plenty of locations for mixed use of and adult recreational businesses in Grover Beach. Let's keep this area for the businesses and people who are already invested in it. Thank you.

This is a safe place for young children and families. Bringing this business to this location is unwarranted, unwanted, and irresponsible. Please listen to the community!
