We just bought our home in June. We bought specifically in this neighborhood to attend Lone Star Elementary. We paid top dollar for our home for the best school.

I don't think it should be change schools. At trinity it's easier to walk to Lone Star elementary without crossing busy street like Ray White. Walking inside trinity to go to school is safer. When kids are older they can walk to elementary school. As a concern parent I want my kid to be able to walk with friends to and from school without to much trouble.

There was a few reasons why I bought a house at heritage. And the elementary school was one of the reasons. I have a 4 year old kid and sending her to friendship elementary this coming school year is out of question.

I second my husband's comments. We retired to Heritage from California. Our choice of Heritage was in part made due to quality of the schools. Do not take that away!!

We just moved here from California to retire. One of the reasons we chose to invest here was the quality of the assigned school. It is extremely unfair to now take that value away from us.

I just moved from Baltimore to Dallas in April 2015. I purchased a home in the Heritage Community because I wanted my daughter to go to Lone Star Elementary. Taking this away from us would be completely unfair to my family but most importantly to my daughter who loves her school, teachers, and classmates.

I am a grandparent and until recently my daughter taught at Lone Star and my grandchildren were privilege to attend their neighborhood school where they could ride their scooters or bikes to school. Unfortunately they had to relocate due to the dads job.

I do not agree with the rezoning of schools within the Heritage HOA community.

I'm against this. I feel it will not be good for my property value.

I hope that KISD can find a solution that will be in the best interest of the children without moving homes from the zoning for Lonestar.

The Heritage HOA borders three Keller ISD Elementary Schools: Lonestar Elementary, Eagle Ridge Elementary and Bette Perot Elementary. The children in Heritage HOA should be zoned to attend one of those schools within our community. They should not be sent elsewhere.

Please keep all Heritage children going to the same school at Lone Star.

I moved here December 1, 2015 I moved here to heritage for the exemplary schools for my grandchildren that I will be raising by the end of this month. Two of them will be going to lone Star elementary. I'm very saddened by this and I hope it doesn't pass .
