Save Headingley Post Office!

This Post Office is always busy, and is central to a large area. Where on earth would we go if it closed? How would people manage who have no car? What is the rationale behind closing this particular branch?

I use regularly this post office as the ones in the centre are even more busy! There is always a queue and no other post office in walking distance of Headingley.

Are you mad? or just venal, looking for an increased rent for the new landlords? The massive queues at all times every day surely show this has about as much business as you could push through the counters. Ridiculous.

Headingley needs its post office

Unbelievable. Always very busy, integral part of the community, I use it all the time and where the heck is the next closest? Kirkstall? Miles away.

This PO is a vital resource for an extremely busy and lively community. Keep it open!

I couldn't believe this Post Office had been marked for closure! It's always so busy, as is the rest of Headingley centre which has banks, supermarkets, medical centre, library, schools nearby, many other varied shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs, but apparently isn't worth a Post Office??????

The West Park and Weetwood post offices were closed not long ago and we were told that we have to use Headingley. If that closes there is no real facility for post office users to go along this part of the A660 corridor.

I use this post office regularly and there is always a queue. It's clearly an integral part of Headingley and should be saved.

This is a valuable local resource well used by a wide range of people - it surely does not make sense to close such a well used service.

The Arndale Centre PO is often oversubscribed footfall wise and its loss would inconvenience many people, both ordinary customers, business customers and especially many OAPs and local residents.

Please keep this essential community asset! Not everyone can just go online and do their banking. ..

I have recently used this post office on several occasions and there have been scores of people of all ages using it. I can only assume if it running at a loss that this is due to the large rents and business taxes demanded in the area. We must preserve a major community asset - where will people go for the services provided otherwise?

It's a very busy Post Office. No excuse to close it.

This post office is an integral, essential part of this community. I have been using it for 33 years and would like to be able to use it for many more years

Its ridiculous to close this branch! Too many elderly people use it and so do the rest of the community.
