Oppose the US Department of Energy (DOE) Proposed Rulemaking of Feb. 9, 2015, that would ban standing pilots on all indoor and outdoor Hearth Products, including gas logs. These regulations would reduce consumer choice of products, increase the cost of those products that could be sold, and would create a safety hazard in areas where the pilot light can promote proper venting.
