The refurbishment of the current school in need should be the focus for the moment. The precious open space and the already unbearable traffic are two items that must weigh heavily in this agenda. Residents of this suburb already have to deal with major traffic congestion due to the current layout of schools in the area and through traffic trying to avoid Scarborough beach road. Shame on the state governments disrespectful and blind decisions.

The Government needs to PLAN. Their only plan seems to be to turn a High School problem into a primary school one and taking the communities open space at the same time. Primary Schools in this area will be under huge pressures in the years to come given the mass infill from these projects - The Scarborough Redevelopment, Stirling City Centre Plan, Scarborough Beach Road Activity Corridor, Karrinyup Shopping Centre Redevelopment. The proposed co-locating of ISWA and Doubleview Primary will only make this problem worse.

Nearby intersections are already at near capacity including St Brigids Tcd and Scarb Bch Rd and West Coast HWy and Brighton Rd. Other developments increasing vehicle demand lily the City's pool are already underway. doubleview and Scaborough have done their part to meet infill targets. We must be able to retain some community green space.

There are too many better locations that can accomodate large numbers of additional people particularly those locations that have transport and other amenities infrastructure already in place.

This is a poor decision. the Govt needs to listen to it's constituents ...the people who will be affected by this decision. the arguments against re common sense

Different government's have been trying to get there mitts on that land for decades. Look at the Scarborough High / Tafe cash grab. Now their crying that they need land for education, makes me wild the way they treat us like idiots.
