There is little enough open space for children to play in our suburbs, this land should be left alone.

When they knocled down Scarborough high school they promised a pool. This never eventuated we are still waiting ..... They promise anything to get this passed and then it never eventuates

Brings back memories of the Scarborough high school debacle. All land & public improvements are owned by West Australians, NOT the government which comes & goes. Hopefully the latter.

children need space to play sport especially in this area where there is alot of in-fill hence backyards are smaller

It is another very shortsighted solution to schooling in this area. We do not need another school on this site. Public open space is VERY precious and we do not want to lose this important community asset.

Lack of common sense, foresight and planning by the Government brought us to here- now they want to remove green space using the same lack of common sense, foresight and planning - nothing but tragedy and disaster will result from this. Keep this green space for our Doubleview PS and community.

Poor decision. Losing the green space that we use daily and the amount of increased traffic in the area are but 2 of many reasons why this is not a good idea. Let's work together to put a stop to this.

I went to primary school here from 1967 it would be such a shame to lose any of the oval the children need to be able to play sport I remember our walkathons

Doubleview primary and residents need this green space. Our suburb has suffered due to infilling.

All the best for a positive outcome for Doubleview PS! C. Barnett presided as minister for education when the western suburbs public high schools were sold. When will governments learn that the sale of public owned assets and infrastructure is never a long term fix.

Please save this green open space for families and pets to enjoy alike. Tree canopy cover at 12% is not creating sustainable living in the City of Stirling.

Mr Lyons & Mrs Gough were my teachers. Surely we can keep the sporting grounds in their honour. Kids need all the playing fields & open space for their development.

Unbelievably short sighted decision

Urban infill and higher density housing has led to loss of 'green space' in our suburb which is affecting all of our lives. As a society our health is being affected from lack of exercise, obesity and disconnection from community with increasing mental health issues. Green space offers a place to exercise, explore, connect with nature and meet/mix with others from our local community members. It's a no brainer........ WE NEED TO KEEP DOUBLEVIEW OVAL!
