Please don't tear these buildings down. I lived through New Londons first redevelopment in the late 1960s through the 1970's. It was heartbreaking and ruined our city. Only the greedy made out. Whole neighborhoods were decimated and the city was torn apart. It changed New London in a horrible way. Please keep and restore buildings that are part of the tapestry of our city.

Please do not let a greedy property owner destroy the heart of this beautiful city. A major part of New London's appeal are the beautiful historical buildings. Those buildings make New London a very special city. There is so much history there, please don't wipe it away. The downtown is so beautiful, a new building will be an eyesore!

Do the right thing: Up-cycle New London's historic properties. It's not only smart conservation, it preserves one of the great things New London has going for it--its rich American history and heritage!

Bank Street is one the most historic areas in historic New London. Please do all that can be done to preserve that historic streetscape. History is important.

First came the British. Then came that school explosion. Now comes Bill Cornish. That's a rough list to be on, but the other two times there wasn't much average people could do. This time is different.

Tearing down these buildings will permanently damage the downtown streetscape! New London building owners have to stop this pattern of tearing down buildings - they are what makes NL unique, and place that people want to visit!
