I hope that the employers will see their way to continue health contributions during this crisis. If one thing is crucial that would be it.

Not having a Health Fund is the absolute last straw... without it, no need for a Union

A union that does not protect the health of its members is not a union!

While I think I'll be able to keep coverage come September, on a lower level, (dropping from A+ to A) I am concerned about the future of the Health Fund. I am grateful for all the trustees are doing to help and I know there are no easy answers in this unprecedented situation. There are many of us who are ready to help in any way we can. Not all industries are hit as hard as ours is. I'm hopeful our plight, being among the last to return to work, will find sympathetic ears.

We can not expect our current government to embrace this notion of mitigating failing health plans. I do hope the union will take some real action.

Musicians must have access to HBP. It is possible to think both responsibly and creatively to meet the healthcare needs of our community.

Given these unprecedented circumstances, might this be the time to make an exception and permit us to pay the 2K employer contribution (along with our usual personal payment) that would provide us with 6 months of coverage?
