Awesome teacher. Had him in highschool. Whoever initiated this crap totally took whatever he said wrong and should be held accountable for nearly ruining this guy's career.

Vaccines have risks that are not transparently communicated to students or their parents. Mr Sullivan acted in a ethical manner by informing his students of the risks of vaccination that were not disclosed to them.

He's simply doing the job doctors and nurses should be doing. Unfortunately doctors and nurses are only given the information the pharmaceutical companies make them regurgitate. He shouldn't be punished for sharing more information, information that is being buried by the people we should trust.

It is a requirement on package inserts by pharmaceutical companies for practitioners to explain the risks including death. If they won't do it an educator must otherwise informed consent is non existant

I live in Ontario and I don't want the right to medical choice or the right to freedom of speech trampled. If they don't think it was the right place for his "activist" opinion and it should be discussed between the parent and student, then why is it the place for them to administer this medical procedure without the consent of the parents? Hypocrisy!

Sully has and always will be a great teacher, always looking out for the kids and their well-being. He's a person who will tell you how it is and that's a wonderful quality in a person! He is my favourite science teacher I ever had! I wish nothing but the best for this man!

Sully was one of my favourite highschool teachers. A smart, kind man who took pride in making sure we were always educated to the best of his ability.
He loved sharing his knowledge with us. And this situation is really no different.

Everybody should get as much information as possible before getting vaccinated. Even if the parents signed a consent form they are most likely not really good informed. The health units usually mention in the parents information sheet only minor side effects like a sore arm. They keep quiet about the severe side effects like autoimmune diseases, death etc. We don't know how effective vaccines are and what the health outcome is. There are no long term placebo controlled studies vaccinated compared to non-vaccinated.
