Critical thinking and informed consent should be encouraged in schools not squashed.

He did the correct thing. Vaccines don't belong in school. Anyone who gets a vaccine should have to read the ingredients.

This teacher is doing there job. The public nurse is who should be called for misconduct here. And fined under the consent act

As a parent I tell my children the dangers of these vaccines and working in the chiropractic field I know the danger it can be to the nervous system. Children have the right to know so that they can make the choice for their own children. I grew up vaccinating my children because I was never told. It wasn't until my children were older that I learned what I know now. By punishing this teacher who by the way only spoke the truth, you are taking away his right to free speech and his students rights to know about vaccines.

When it comes to health we should all be able to make informed decisions. This involves teaching both sides of things. Like it or not.

Fined and possible job loss over reading a vaccine insert and exercising informed consent? Absolutely ridiculous.

We all have the right to informed consent. This teacher was acting in accordance with education. Educating the students of the true possible side effects and ingredients that are all listed on the package insert of the vaccine. If those nurses did their job, then he would not have had to educate the students of his high school. This man is an example of a true science teacher, presenting both sides of an issue and should not be punished for this! He is an advocate for informed consent and he did not do anything against the law.

Nobody should be found guilty or penalized for merely pointing out what is written on the vaccine inserts, and it's not his fault if the medical staff choose not to read them. It is the medical staff's fault, however, for not providing their students with true and full informed consent - something that is not possible if they do not read the vaccine inserts themselves first.

Thank you for looking out for both sides of the argument!

Nothing untrue was said. All the side effects are clearly marked on the inserts, and nurses have a responsibility to answer questions and provide information as part of informed consent. Reinstate him.

What is the world coming to if our teachers can't teach about informed consent? He read the vaccine insert, which is provided by the manufacturer...

I stand with Sullivan. He was one of my favourite teachers and coaches. He is a kind and harmless man who truly cares about his students.

This is disgusting. He is an EDUCATOR so he EDUCATED his students on the dangers of vaccines; just like he would educate them on what foods are healthy and that poison is bad for you. This nonsense has got to stop!

No crime to inform students of truth. No penalty for this teacher.
