Pethetic.
We need more people like Tim. Teachers could take lessons from him. The meaning of Informed concent should be undersood by students as well. And not to be blindly lead by "yes men" too affraid to question status quo, or to be a critical thinker for themselves.

It is frightening that a science teacher cannot share 2 sides of an argument. It is a FACT that there are side effects to vaccines. Good for you for teaching your students critical thinking. Too bad the school board is too busy dumbing them down and making them moronic zombies.

He did his job...educated students instead of "following orders"...he is a hero and deserves a commendation...he supports the Canadian charter of rights which lays informed consent as a basic criteria..

If he had brought up informed consent surrounding any other pharmaceutical product this would not be making the news. This teacher was just doing his job. Now the kids are learning about how our democracy fails when people speak truth to power. Truth: informed consent is important. Truth: informed consent involves reading inserts to any medication (including vaccines) and getting information on side effects to any medical procedure. Why are people upset about this?!?

It's ridiculous just because we are in a war of pros and cons when it comes to vaccines, that a teacher doesn't have the right to "educate" about the concerns and side effects they may cause. There are substantiated facts in everything he has said. There are warning labels on vaccinations that kids have the right to be told. Always stand for what you believe in, too many people don't. We believe in you Sully!

Speaking the truth should not be punished. The kids should not be vaccinated without written permission from their parents! The parents should be completely informed and have read the vaccine insert and it should be signed before vaccination. PERIOD!

What is supposed to happen is that the Nurses who were treating with vaccines should have been charged with violating the Health Care Consent Act, which requires them to FULLY disclose all information about the products they are giving to get INFORMED consent. Further, because they tried to prevent Mr. Sullivan from invoking his right to be fully informed, they interfered with HIS rights and should again be charged. What you have seen is a gross violation of a person's right to full disclosure and then intimidation of a person to force them not to invoke their legal rights. I would like to see these nurses and doctors charged for a change....but they bargain on the fact that most people don't know about one of the most important protections they are supposed to have...the Health Care Consent Act...mandates all healthcare personnel to provide FULL DISCLOSURE in order to obtain INFORMED CONSENT.

Everyone has a right to informed consent. Everyone should be provided the vaccine inserts before receiving a vaccine. Thank goodness a teacher is looking out for his student's well being; we cannot discourage open transparent conversation about any topic!
