Stating what's listed on the vaccine insert and being charged for saying it is so wrong!!

He should be awarded for telling children the truth and trying to protect them, not prosecuted or suspended. The school should be prosecuted for not informing students/parents of risks.

Informed Consent is not a crime. Punishing a teacher that teaches critical thinking is wrong.

I dont see how it is wrong for a teacher to inform his highschool students on what they are putting in their body. He was doing what the nurse should have done.. It should be mandatory for Doctors, RN's, nurses to give a pamphlets and have talks about the vaccines ingredients and also the pros the cons before injecting the ever so trusting patient. Alot of us do not know whats in these vaccines, all we know is that its supposed to save lives and of course some of us hear bad things of these vaccines. For me, one being that there is mercury in vaccines, another being that too many vaccines at once can do more harm then good to young babies that are still building their immune systems. Before knowing this my local RN gave my 15 month old child 2 needles with 4 different vaccines in each needle, so that 8 vaccines at once in each leg at the same time. I tried telling her i was only comfortable with givimg him the one needle and even though i said NO multiple times she made me feel like i had too so i gave in.. if i knew more and was aware of the potential harm that would have happemed to my child i would have been more firm. We as a people need this information and it SHOULD be mandatory for them to give us this information without the patient having to ask and before injecting our babies, toddlers, youth and elderly.

He's a hero. Which is weird since all he did was what anyone should have done: informed the students. But in this day of age, this is considered wrong!?!

Ontario's Health Protection Act clearly states that informed consent must be given before any medical procedure including vaccinations. For Mr Sullivan to be punished because he highlighted that this consent was not forthcoming is egregious!!

They probably deserved it IF anything was said. Nurses are just mean and miserable, most of them. Their for the $$, don't care about people.

As an RN, I support Timothy Sullivan and the concerns he raised.

If he was aggressive in his communication efforts then he needs to be educated about effective communication and punished for aggressive behaviour but he should not be fired for encouraging students to be aware of all information before consenting to vaccination.
