This man is a hero and a proper teacher, he blew the whistle ... if you don't protect him you are guilty of crimes against humanity

This is ridiculous. Maybe the people should be warned of all the risks and possible side effects. He was being a good human being. Stop pumping people full of poison.

I would like to see this man treated fairly and away from the media. These days the press can ruin people by both not doing their job properly (regurgitating poor reporting or bias ones) and also being pressured by lobbyists or large corporations. Some journalists or article writers are not even trained. Each story needs to be looked at from many sides. Individuals must be interviewed. Social media has taken many an incorrect or influenced story to the world w great detriment to the topic of the story. Whether that is a person, event or company. This story would have been well served by an equal look at why parental and informed concent was NOT mandatory in providing children w medical treatments!

As a parent, I commend him for being open about his opinions with his students. As a a society, we should encourage our teachers to teach the kids to express their opinions by laying everything out in open. Then let the kids decide. The last time I checked, we live in a democratic society and it's healthy to agree to disagree while coexisting. We all have choices and we should be encouraging our children to choose their direction for themselves leading to independent thinking.

It has been admitted and proven that vaccines have killed numerous babies and children, and children have a right to know this.

Vaccines have great potential for physical and mental problems.
Vaccines should NOT be mandatory.
Vaccines should be thoroughly investigated which they are not!

This is wrong. What he did was totally right having the best interests of the kids in mind.
It'd be a different story if he was pro vaccines he wouldn't have been prosictutied and would have been allowed to voice his opinion

It's rare that a teacher would step up to protect his students like you did. I commend your courage and initiative to inform them and protect them. If I ever have a kid, I hope s/he would have teachers like you. Thank you for lighting a fire under the discourse on the risks associated with vaccines, and teaching students and parents about informed consent and criticism. Lastly, thank you for protecting all of our rights, even if others can't realize it. :)

You have every right to equip students to question agreeing to put anything in their body without full knowledge and understanding of what it is and it's apparent risks. I applaud you for stepping up and your courage!

He cares about the kids and wants to educate them on the dangers of vaccines and he is reprimanded? Freedom of speech, thinking critically and standing up for what you believe in are the traits that should be valued in our society-not condemned. A process which cannot even be questioned, vaccines, should be heartily examined as to it's safety and efficacy. These are scary times when one cannot voice his opposition to government mandates. I thought we were the land of the free?

If the schools are going to teach about vaccines, then they need to teach the entire truth which includes all possible outcomes...not just those with which they are comfortable. It is impossible to obtain informed consent while withholding information. Mr. Sullivan did what was prudent in making sure these students got the whole truth. He should be applauded and rewarded instead of vilified. And those who were withholding information from students...trying to obtain informed consent without first fully informing should be fired and fined. Lastly, I find it troubling that school administrators continue to usurp parents such as having vaccine clinics for minor children. Schools should concentrate on educating their students and let parents take care of medical decisions.
