If the PIL was included with consent forms given to parents he would not have found himself in this position.

A teacher is supposed to teach. Reading a product insert is supposed to be considered common knowledge anyway, so what's the problem?

I'm shocked that this situation has gone this far. We should be reading the inserts, he has done nothing wrong.

Full disclosure. This should be done EVERY time anyone gets a vaccine. Respect our human rights!

Let me get this straight. We are penailing a teacher for encouraging students to read the small print for something that they are agreeing to I. E the vaccine inserts. Would we take the same attitude if they failed to do the same before signing a contract. It's called informed consent. Informed being the operative word. Schools should not be the place for medical procedures or is that venue perhaps used because it almost guarantees compliance without question. No, Mr Sullivan did a great service to students that day. He should not be penalised for it. Personally I would like to shake his hand. From a mother who has a vaccine injured child. I wished someone had read out loud the vaccine inserts to my child before she had the HPV injection at school. Maybe today she wouldn't be so ill. Weĺl done.

This teacher did the right thing by informing his students about risks. Parents and kids need to be standing up for him! He did his best to ptotect our children and that makes him a HERO!

The Teachers organization needs to do some research and learn that there is indeed a danger in the vaccines. He cares for his students so maybe they should fine him for that.

He is an amazing teacher i havent met one kid who hasnt learned from his classes. Not to mention he didnt do anything wrong he literally read information that was given to him by health nurses that had to search for information that should have readily available to them upon request. So basically what ive gathered is that we need to know all side effects for medication advertised on television but when it comes to vaccines it doesnt matter and why is that?
Besides Ive known Sullivan for years prior to high school and i have never once heard him yell or lose his temper at anyone.

Informed consent is worth fighting for!
