He was the head at my old high school before it got knocked down and if he wasn't for him, I wouldn't of passed my GCSE'S!!!

This is disgraceful. The trust must of been aware he had ADHD when he was recruited. I can’t believe discrimination is still happening in this day and age! The transformation in the school has been amazing since he arrived. And the only reason we chose the put it as first choice for our son starting in sept was because of his changes. Up until now, we have not been impressed with the school at all with our son who is still n year 9 and our eldest son who left last year. Had I known this was going to happen, I would have seriously thought about putting another school down as first choice which I know we would have got into due to the abolishment of the catchment areas.
My son in year 9 is awaiting assessment from CAHMS for ADHD and Mr Yates has been amazing with him.
Shame on you Shaw Trust, this is completely the wrong move, I hope you do the right thing and reinstate him!

Please put Mr Yates back in post as soon as possible, he has been transformational at Tottington and his whole personality and attitude, and the changes he implemented to make a difference so quickly at the school are why we’ve chosen it as our kids high school for September.

I will be absolutely devastated if Mr Yates has been removed and thoroughly shocked if the reasons are as suggested here. He has single handled turned this school around, the staff need him at the Helm and I very much hope he is back for September.
