Reinstate Mr Yates as Headteacher at Tottington High School

Just no ! What a teacher. We need more. Not less of these teachers !

This would be a great loss for the school and surrounding community. The change Mr Yates has brought is amazing achievement something the trust has not been able to achieve its self since they took it over!

My daughter doesn't,t go there anymore but sounds like that school needed someone like him

As a parent we have seen so many improvements in high school he deserves so much better we need him back into school for the sake of our children wellness and educational needs.

Save Mr Yates and get rid of the stereotypical boring, military teachers whom have one way of enforcing discipline.

Get mr yates back, hes the person that switched this school around.

Tottington was not our first choice of school, in fact it was never I. The running and the day we opened the email to see that the local authority had assigned it, my daughter cried. We tried to change it but in the end thought we would give it a chance. Her first year was a negative experience from the dictatorship attitude and fear of not being able to make a mistake. This changed when mr Yates came along, he made an extraordinary difference in a short space of time. He showed how respecting children see respect being given back. He didn’t make child fear him or the errors we all make, including being a minute late to class. In the short space of time of his absence, the communication from the school is reverting back to us and then rather than a we! If Mr goes then so does my child as the school will not be the right environment to help thrive.

My kids don't go to Tottington but what I have heard this amazing man has made some real changes . He needs to be brought back

Unless he has crossed a serious line he must be brought back. He has transformed THS in a short time.

Absolutely brilliant head teacher, how could anyone possibly not like him, does everything he can to help the kids

We need Mr yates back at tottington school we're he belongs the pupils, the staff, and the parents need him back we love Mr yates.the impact on the school he's made in the last year has been amazing we will do what ever we can to get him back.

Mr Yates was my Headteacher back at Heywood Community High School, ahe was fantastic and one of the best Teachers... I work in a School myself and hope to be the same kind of Teacher, Mr Yates should not be punished for his bubbly, caring nature towards any School he teaches in due to a small amount of negativity!
