His positive impact on the children and families is clearly evident. Teachers like him should be cherished NOT suspended. The other teachers need to take a leaf out of his book and stop moaning!

This is so sad to see speaking from experience of having Mr Yates as a teacher and a head master he truly is the best at what he does he has a good heart and wants the best for everyone and that's how teachers should be 16 years since he taught me and it's nice to see he hasn't changed

Any school is extremely lucky to have this man as their head. Sure I speak for everyone when I say we wish we could have him back at LHS

Mr Yates is the reason my son went to Litherland High ,hearing how he turned schools around before coming to Litherland High. Such a shame he left Litherland HIgh as the change in the school has gone down ,voiced by pupils and parents .Support Mr Yates!!!!!!!!

Mr Yates completely transformed our high school. Even better listened about mental health and did what was in students best interest

Mr Yates is one of the main reasons I chose to move my daughter to Litherland High School in year 10. His fun, unique, energetic approach was crucial to the school’s improvement. From his directing the traffic outside school morning and afternoon to his weekly Facebook lives and attendance at every school function, he kept everyone engaged- students, teachers and parents alike. I cannot believe what I have just read. It saddens me so much and I hope this school sees sense and reinstates him asap.

Wish he stayed at litherland high only reason we picked the school for Noah gutted when he left schools not the same

He was headteacher at my daughters school Litherland High in Liverpool and the kids absolutely adored him, him leaving was a massive loss and left many children upset, I feel the school hasn’t been the same since he left

Teachers like this need to be protected, they are the only positive within a broken education system.
