Mr Yates was my daughters headteacher at Litherland High School and made a great impact on the school and the teachers and students whilst improving the bullying

The Shaw education trust is dangerous to get rid of Mr Yates and keep Mr Watson. A freedom of information act request is needed for the KOUs they use for head teachers. It is definitely not student wellbeing. That is for sure. Institutional bullying is the order of the day at Woodhey High School.

I may mot go to Tottington High School but I had him for my last 3yrs at Litherland High School and seeing how great he was for me and still is for his new job it’s disheartening to see him get suspended for what makes him great

Mr Yates was Deputy Head at HCHS when I was there 20 years ago and was one of the best teachers there! Always had time for the students no matter what.

People like this come along once in a child’s life. Don’t cheat them out of this!

This is a disgrace , reinstate him now he obviously has a way with teaching children that the parents and children love
And children with special needs thriving in the school a few disgruntled teachers are able to do this is disgraceful they should hang their heads in shame for what they have done despicable

I don’t even know this teacher, but the impact I’ve read he had on the children is something you cannot ignore!

School are failing all around the UK because the education departments in government's and school governors are removing the staff that these students need because they are more focused on students that anything else. We need more teachers and head teachers like this not less. Let's change the bad experiences into great experiences and give students the best chance at success

He was the only reason we chose his previous school, Litherland high. In a failing education system that has a one boot fits all criteria. He changed that and fought for inclusion and different ways to teach those that the boot didn’t fit! My son came on leaps and bounds and I have him to thank for that! I wish he was still there as it’s now reverted back to the one boot fits all and my daughter is struggling massively! Litherland huge made a huge mistake letting him leave and now the board of the academy have made a massive mistake suspending him. He is what education needs!
