My Daughter has just left Tottington and when Mr Yates arrived it’s the first time my Daughter got the support she needed because he understands every students needs are individual.

Discrimination and jealousy at its finest. Get this man back in his post.

Mr Yates was the best head teacher that his previous school had, yes he approached things with a flamboyance but he was a brilliant head, students wellbeing came first and showed children that daring to be different and "weird" can get the job done. He was fantastic - kids ENJOYED school! How many high schools can say that?

Mr yates welcomed my girls after i did a in year transfer from a school that they had been bullied at, he made them feel welcome and reassured them that they would be safe at his school , i find it utterly disgusting and unfair that he was suspended for being fun and energetic, in the short time that i have known him hes been amazing. My girls felt at ease having mr yates as their head teacher they also felt safe and reassured

We had the pleasure of being one of Mr Yates’ first classes when he started teaching geography at Middleton Technology School in the mid-nineties. Watching recent videos of him at Tottington High School, it’s clear he still has that same spark. Now a headteacher, he continues to work his magic. He might not always follow the conventional route, but the way he engages with his students speaks for itself. Get the man his job back now.

Mr David Yates was my headteacher when I was at school and he made the school go from one of the worst schools in Manchester to the best. He knew how to help each kid achieve the best they could, I went to high school with 1% of passing anything and left high school with 7 GCSE'S all above c and it's all thanks to him.
