Reinstate Mr Yates as Headteacher at Tottington High School

best headteacher i EVER had, he doesn't deserve tottington. he should be at a much better school than them.

Mr Yates is a fantastic headteacher really made a difference to my children in school, he really cared and made a difference to all,

What he was doing was so obviously working for the better! Please bring him back!

David is a fantastic addition to any team and has worked wonders in all his previous schools.

I am so shocked to see this…, he is the reason my daughter Abbie started to “enjoy” going to school and I was so devastated he left just before son james started the same high school…. This is disgusting treatment of a headreacher who was sooo respected by both parents and pupils of litherland high school, come back to us mr Yates!!

Unfair treated . Let hear the truth

This man single handedly changed my son’s high school experience. He is truly one in a million and this school is so lucky to have him.

He’s turned the school around. As an ex teacher and now chair of governors of a large secondary school I follow his school and think he’s done a wonderful job turning the school around. A small minority shouldn’t be allowed to influence the governing body. He should be reinstated. Bring a head is a tough job. Some will always be upset but they shouldn’t be allowed to influence

I struggled at my school but I feel with a head like him things would have been different for me...

We need more teachers with the same traits in our schools. I would be concerned about the staff who complained and would investigate them - do they need re-training? If they can not acknowledge the positive difference that he has made and be a supportive team member, especially f they have been present and negatively contributing to a school that needed changes, then maybe they should not be in that environment.

He was at my sons old school, He was the reason I sent my son there, I waited untill November to put my son in the school because I new that head teacher would have him on an amazing level through.life! I would get rid of the teachers that have done this to that man. This is his life yous are messing with!

Absolutely ridiculous reason to suspend someone. The staff group are clearly bullying and harassing him - toxic individuals. You only have to look at the videos to realise he is absolutely incredible.

One of the most enthusiastic headteachers I have ever met. David truly cares about the kids unlike many teachers who simply do the job for money. David does it for the love of the kids x

I don’t know the headteacher, and I’m not from the area. BUT schools need more inclusion and it sounds like this man knew and valued this.

Great headmaster need to keep him.

Stop making our children robots!! Let them have fun with imagination/play/sports/games… they have their grown up years to be regimental/miserable/depressed… if this teacher can make the children happy and still follow national curriculum why on earth would anyone stop this!!!
