Amazing person and the best head teacher who went above and beyond for our daughter and did not give up on her when so many others did!

Having worked in education for over 20 years, Mr Yates was the Head at my school which was one of the most challenging schools in England. His vision, commitment and energy totally transformed the school and pupils outcomes. I have seen many heads come and go, Mr Yates was by far the best head teacher I have ever worked with.

I met Mr Yates once, what a dynamic man who obviously cared about his school community. Withholding information fuels the fire of speculation which is unfair to all concerned

My grandson was only going to this school in September because of the proactive headmaster! I pulled my daughter out of the school a few years ago because of the notorious bullying culture in the school.

We operated coaches for trips from Sutherland high HEYWOOD years ago when David Yates was in charge!! Great trips, great staff, great kids and all loved David Yates!! The best!!

He's an asset to the education of children making learning fun

I don't know this school or the person in question but this is very disappointing, someone who makes a difference getting punished for having a different approach, this is not sending a good message to the youngsters him being dismissed, I'm disgusted.

The school is definitely better under his command he brought a different approach too learning my granddaughter said he was funny and loud but good at his job despite having adhd this is what made him different and made him understand more.what kids with needs are going through and wants too make a difference

An amazing man! Amazing headteacher! He totally transformed Litherland High School in Liverpool and everyone loved him! His enthusiasm and dedication to his work is amazing! Hope he gets his job back soon
