Features such as Long Bar Pointe are what make this area attractive to residents and tourists alike. Unrestrained development will diminish the appeal of this area. Protecting it will be a great service for the citizens of Manatee County. Thank you for your consideration.

I fervently hope that Aqua by the Bay is defeated, for environmental and legal reasons

There is nothing positive about the Aqua by the Bay project for Sarasota Bay and the surrounding areas.

Please, please, please Commissioners, do the right thing. Do not allow this to happen. It will be a travesty if you do!

Neither the county nor the state can possibly benefit from this proposed development. It is one of the few remaining natural and unspoiled sections of the Gulf coast in the area, and to lose it and it's ecological habitat forever would be a crime. It is truly irreplaceable.

The seawall and lagoon will permanently damage the mangroves by stopping natural runoff and blocking new sediments from lands inland of the mangroves. They are also prohibited by the county comprehensive plan. And the high rises will spoil the look of the entire area.

I am a registered voter and will vote against any commissioner who approves this development plan.

Coastal areas preserve unique plants and animals, and protect our coast line. It is 1 big circle we must protect. Tu

What kind of people want to destroy our environment? Take note of any commissioner that supports this.

Can't we finally kill this? Follow the expressed desires of the citizens.

Less natural coastline means less tourists.

We strongly reject this plan, to destroy, mangroves, wetlands & 1 of the last natural fish hatcheries, in Sarasota Bay. We want to save the Cortez fishing Industry & village!

The waters/mangroves/fish belong to EVERYONE and Beruff has no right to rob us all of those natural rights/benefits.

We have so few natural places left - they are precious and must be preserved.
