The season is already shorter than any other level of collegiate athletics and to decrease the number of games further would all but do away with a reasonable athletic schedule.

Over many years of coaching collegiate baseball almost every student-athlete wants to be able to do more on the field not less. This would be a major blow to recruiting at the NCAA D-III level. Successful student-athletes at the D-III level should be allowed to compete at a minumun of 40 contests in the spring.

Please do not diminish the amount of permissible contests. It is not worth the "savings". If even 1 student-athlete chooses to go a juco, DII, or DI institution instead of Division III because of the limited amount of contests, then schools will lose more money than they might if they played their full allotment of contests. Let these colleges have their option to play fewer games--don't mandate it.

Please don't take away more games. We have worked hard on the field and in the classroom to be able to play our sports.

This shouldn't happen. We work hard in order to be able to compete as much as we do, and at least for me, it is one of the main reasons I compete. Don't take this away from us.

I am a D3 athlete and I love the game. Please don't take away what we love to do.

We deserve as many games as any other division.

Restricting participation is contrary to the Division III Philosophy. If individual institutions want to place restrictions on contests, let them, but do not take away what our student-athletes work so hard for at institutions who make no excuses for being stellar both in the classroom and on the playing field.

Once again we work too hard for their to be a cut in contest.

With all the other restrictions in place at Div III, such as limited fall practice time and the implementation of the 90/20 rule (90 seconds between innings and 20 seconds between pitches) there is not a need to limit these student/athletes any further. There is plenty of time for these student athletes to achieve there academics and athletics at the highest possible level. If you look at most of our baseball programs across the country I would argue that most of the cumulative baseball GPA's are higher than the cumulative GPA's of the non-athletic student body.

please keep the games at 40 we have enough issues trying to recruit against the scholarship schools. if we go to 20 games under division 1 we are going to look much less attractive to the student athletes. they have enough restrictions that makes it sem they are inferior please let's not add to the list because these kids love it and work hard for everything they get. the games are the rewards why would we want to take the most enjoyable part of playing away

I am a parent. Please do not cut the games for these men. They lift and train year round for 2 months of play.

Need to consider how this will effect recruiting, which = $$$$, trying to save money by doing this will cost way more in the long run in lost tuition dollars

We only get 4 years of college baseball. I don't want that to get any shorter.

the balance of academics and athletics at the D3 level is thriving. Its not broke, don't fix it.

I oppose NCAA III legislation 2-7 (1-2) that would decrease the number of allowable contests and competition dates.
