Adding my name in honor of my deceased husband whose 3 years of suffering was made worse by the poorly organized and overcrowded parking situation at the Pasqua Hospital.

People undergoing such exhausting treatments deserve to have society offer whatever we can do to ease their healing. Lets reduce the stresses they already endure.

No one should be walking blocks let alone paying for parking for their treatments that keep them alive and as healthy as they can be!

Parking is horrendous. Let the healthy people walk if something can’t be done about the poor parking situation.

Common sense to at least try to provide basic dignity.

They have enough to deal with…don’t you think, without the added extra expense!

Cancer treatment is tough enough and many don't have insurance to cover costs. Give them free parking!

I highly support patients having access to dedicated parking arrangements while undergoing cancer treatments in our province. An example of specific availability can be seen at RGH’s 15th Avenue parking lot having dedicated parking for Renal Patients.

Parking for any reason at a hospital should never be an issue but expecting people that are already fighting for their lives to deal with this is absolutely ridiculous!

My mother went through cancer treatments and this would have been a huge help. I hope it helps others.

I just finished treatment a couple months ago during the winter months. It was a horrible experience don’t wish the parking lot wows on anyone.

My husband just finished treatments in February, many very cold, high windchill days, hard to find parking as usual!

5 years ago my sister had the same issues with parking while undergoing chemo and radiation. She received a $35 ticket for parking within 3 meters of a back alley, while the ticket enforcer watched her park from across the street. She 6 feet away. Being a single mother on the disability pay she received at that time was another slap in the face. I called her city councillor and explained the situation, but his reply was “That’s how City of Regina makes its money”. SHA and City Of Regina should be totally ashamed of themselves treating cancer patients so callously, forcing them to find parking spots that simply aren’t available within a reasonable distance. Maybe free taxi services for treatment appointments is a possible solution.

The parking situation at Pasqua Hospital when we go for my husband's chemotherapy treatment is very difficult. The lot is frequently full when we arrive.
