Selling/leasing a part of a operating school to a contractor creates huge liability. Children come first. We need before/after school care on site. Please remove our school from selling/leasing option.

While understanding that the district needs to consider ways to find income, I disagree that the land where Sartorette's track is should be considered as an option when the other three options do not directly affect children and their education. My son is in TK and we can see in just one month how the track is used on a regular basis and how much he enjoys it. We have discovered that he loves running! What an asset to a school to have this resource for the children, especially in an age of childhood obesity and increased sedentary lifestyles. Removing the track would have an adverse affect on all the children of Sartorette.

The track or any other part of any school in the district should be off limits. The physical exercise our children get directly increases their focus and attention in the classroom. My boys look forward to doing their laps on the track and as someone else pointed out, a vital part of the school's fundraiser. I'm disappointed that this can even be a choice no matter how financially impacted we are.

The kids deserve better. The other options being considered to raise revenue will not affect the kids. Those are the options that they should be looking at. Not Sartorette.

Please keep the track and add more after school program options as we all know living in the Bay Area is not cheap therefore a lot of us work full time. Having not to the stress about getting into ROCK every year ,it would be nice to have other options just for a piece of mind

Please do not close Sartorette. It is very vital that our schools not be overcrowded. Figure out a way to fix the district mismanagement of resources and increasing enrollment instead of taking slapdash measures. We live in the district and what you do to our schools affect us personally. Do not make decisions that affect us without our voices being heard first.

When discussion the increase in teachers' salaries last year, the board said that it always tried to keep the cuts as far away from the students as possible. Developing at Sartorette puts the cuts in our backyard, literally. I understand our district is operating at a deficit. I understand that we need to raise funds. However, this proposal will drive students away from Sartorette - the smallest and most diverse school in the district.

Bagby is the only school site without a track. Clearly having a track ar each site was an important part of each school site when they were built. Even a track was added to Steindorf when it was reopened. The children use the track daily to run and exercise. It would be removing a vital component of the school site. We do not support this as community members or as parents who have children attending this school and would vigorously oppose any efforts to move this idea forward any further. Remove it from discussions and focus on the other three sites.
