It is appauling a city like Sugar Land pursuing expansion interests at the risk of endangering young school children.

I substitute teach at FSMS and it is dangerous for students crossing at Elkins. Many times it is the parents that are being careless.

It is so sad that the City of Sugar Land has failed to do its 110% best to ensure that this doesn't happen again to anyone else's child, as my son was one of the 3 boys almost run over crossing University Blvd after school that day.

Thank you all for your work. I know this takes up a lot of time. The City is putting thoroughfare of cars more important than the safety of the children.

We are asking the City of Sugar Land to put the safety of the children as their first priority and not add more traffic to make University Blvd a dangerous high speed roadway. This is a residential neighborhood adjacent to FOrt Settlement middle school, school children have a right to cross University Blvd without being in fear for their lives.

City should not wait until and fatality happens. These are basic things things that needs to be done before looking into bond approval.
