Demand Metal Detectors and Clear Backpacks in Harford County Public Schools to Ensure Student Safety

We need a safe place for our children and teachers

This should not be happening.

Our children have the right to be safe in our public schools. Please make it state and county law to require metal detectors as an added measure of protection for our kids. This is normal process when entering a court house or airport so this should not be an issue. We are fully able to afford to provide our children safety and protection. If not, many parents including myself will consider homeschooling our children as a result of worrying or fearing for their safety. No parent or child should ever have to live in fear or worry about their safety in our public school system. I urge the local and state governments to pass a bill as soon as possible. Thank you.

Way past time for these measures to happen!

Our children need, deserve & feel to/be protected. We are causing more problems by not putting them first. Pure madness all of this Metal detectors, clear back packs. With all those thoughts and prayers havent you've just been given, the answers?.

It's not Fair when you are Afraid to send your Children to School. These Young & Old need to be Accountable. NO MORE PLAYING GAMES WITH THEM

Please PLEASE put metal detectors in ALL our schools. Our precious children are too vulnerable and trusting to these so called peers. We need help immediately. Please think of your own children, that's how we feel about ours. They need our help. We as parents are trusting our kids to you, ALL day long. Please find the money somewhere, somehow to put metal detectors in all Maryland schools.

Great day, I suggest and ask if metal detectors are put inside Joppatowne high. I would feel more at ease knowing my child would be safe inside the school. Kids are there to get an education and should not have to worry about being in danger while learning. Many thanks

This is school System is so messed up and I agree I think we should have Metal detectors in every entrance these schools should have a change instead of sitting around why innocent kids are dying and it’s going to keep happening unless we do something about it.

Its sucks but its about kids getting home safe.
