Demand Metal Detectors and Clear Backpacks in Harford County Public Schools to Ensure Student Safety

We’ve gone to the point where we don’t even feel safe in our own school. We don’t want to go anymore because we don’t know the people around us. The county cares about us having our phones more then they care about our safety

Metal detectors are needed today !!

Not only hcps but all schools

As a student of Harford County Public Schools, I should feel safe in my school. I want to be able to learn in a safe environment. The schools wanna worry about phones, but not trying to set up metal detectors. What is wrong with us?

I do not have age school kids anymore . I am how ever a grandmother and great Aunt . The safety of all children and teachers are so very important . There should be one way in and one way out and a guard at the door with the detector .

Please get metal detectors in the schools. There is no cost that is to much to protect our children.

It’s evident that we need these in our schools. Let’s not let politics and cost become a barrier.

I agree. And clear bags should be durable enough to last all school year. Should be provided by the school the child attends. Lockers should have plexiglass windows to see through as well
