This flag wasn't common until the BLM movement and it symbolizes cops covering up for the actions of other cops. Police should be accountable!

Any Decal shows an us v them mentality. I will never feel safe around a blue line.

The Postal Service has uniforms and a government fleet. The vehicles have never had any decals for any cause. It may seem a truism but: strict neutrality is the only way to be neutral and the servants of all the people.

The thin blue line is a disgusting racist symbol and shouldn't be on anything my taxes pay for

The thin blue line flag on the cruisers and masks give a message of us against them at a time of high tension due to cases of police brutality and civil unrest.

A sticker with political connotations, particularly those the community has deemed a threatening purpose, had absolutely no place on a public servants vehicle. The police are to remain unbiased in all parties, a bumper sticker created as a direct opposite to a movement is not appropriate in any circumstances. I would argue if an officer created a bumper sticker with other controversial personal views they would be immediately asked to remove. As an officer they are expected to perform their duty with or without support, the need for a sticker in support of a slogan shows weakness as well as bias.

This emblem perpetuates the idea that police officers are above the law and that they are not called to "serve and protect," but to serve as judge, jury, and executioner.

I do not like the thin blue line logo displayed on police officers or any police property.

The evolution of the Blue Line has become harmful to communities as it now represents ineffective police officers being protected by good officers and senior police staff. Communication with the people that police swear to serve and protect becomes strangled by that blue line and trust evaporates.

I feel the thin blue line is very decisive especially in lieu of what’s happened recently in this country. It presents an us vs them mentality.

Support the removal of the thin blue emblem anywhere the city is funded by tax payers

The Thin Blue line is no longer seen as a symbol of protection to the public, but as an offensive symbol of police protecting police when they do not serve and protect the public, especially people of color. #blacklivesmatter

Tax Payer funded vehicles should not be sporting a symbol that historically filled with hate.

This does not belong on government funded vehicle, especially when it has been used in recent years as a counter to Black Lives Matter. Read the room, please.

The recent thin blue line campaign seems to be a reactionary opposition to the Black Lives Matter movement.

The thin blue line has been associated with corruption and propaganda since its introduction to law enforcement. Unfortunately we can't control how symbols evolve, and it is now linked to the political far right and to white supremacy. it needs to be removed from our police cruisers.
