An 8am start time would be much better for my children. We'll have one child at Sunset Hill and one at West Middle School. I would happily let my oldest walk from Sunset to West. Thank you, everyone.

Making the start times for Sunset Hill Elementary and West Middle School differ by one hour will be counter-productive in terms of the main reason for the change - traffic. If Sunet started ten minutes prior to West, then many parents would simply drop off all children at Sunset, and let some of them walk to West. Making Sunset an early start school again, along with the traffic enhancements planned for Ninth Street and Schwarz Road, will be the most beneficial in terms of the traffic issue.

Although we no longer have a child at Sunset Hill, my husband coaches the chess clubs at both Sunset Hill and West. Right now, he has to leave work early two days a week to run the clubs separately, but it would be much better for him (and the kids) if the school times were as they were before, so that the two clubs could be run concurrently.

Early start and match with west middle school allows older siblings to walk to/from school and drop off, and pick up younger siblings.

Next year having kids at Sunset, West and Freestate I'm really hoping all can have close to the same school hours. Back to early start, please!!

As a working parent, and a parent of a West Middle schooler, I hope that Sunset Hill will return to its early start.
