These members need to be removed due to their inability to work with parents by simply following the law.

We are new to the county and moved here so our son wouldn't be subjected to draconian mandates with no scientific basis. I personally served on my school board in New York up until July of this year. We all didn't agree with the mandates from the state, but we all respected the laws of the state. This superintendent and board have directly violated state law and their oaths. They are not fit to serve in their respective positions.

The superintendent and several board members of Indian River county school district have decided they are above the law! They are not and need to be removed from the position they hold.

This is unacceptable. Parents should be given a choice whether they want their children to wear masks.

Our school board has crossed the line not allowing parents to make medical decisions for their children and violated executive order 20-175. I want to see criminal action taken against all 3 members who voted for mandates as well as the superintendent who brought forth the mandate. I ask for immediate removal of all four.

I'm furious to see what Brian Barefoot, Mara Schiff and Peggy Jones have done to our school board. I'm done with this school district and will home school until I see some major changes in our choice of school superintendent and board members.
