My family has been in Augustine for over 14 years and has a long history of supporting Colonial Forge. A change at this point would be SO disruptive and unfair for my children and all of Augustine north residents!

I live in Augustine North and purposely picked this community because of its proximity to what I believe are the best schools in the county. I strongly request that Colonial Forge remain as our designated high school.

Augustine should NOT be a part of the redistricting plan. Our neighborhood was one of the founding neighborhoods for Colonial Forge. Neighborhoods in south county should not be allowed to take CF spots from a neighborhood that is 1-2 miles from the school. This is absurd!

I specifically moved to our community because of the schools we were assigned to in this neighborhood. I also believe you are being very shortsighted in your plans, and not addressing the true issue of no school off of 17 until years from now.

I spoke at the meeting when the school board met to name the high school. We have a history with this high school. In fact I know the history of the land. I would hate to see our residents moved from this school

As a follow up to my email to the entire board. I urge you to do nothing this year, but take the time to review the entire county. Please stop the band aid approach!

The students and parents in Augustine North helped shape Colonial Forge into the school it is today. It is not fair to move this community to a different school to make room for children and families that don't have the established roots in the school like Augustine residents do.

Many people have purchased homes in Augustine North because we are an established neighborhood with a great reputation, and to have their sons and daughters attend Colonial Forge HS. This would be doing a great disservice to our neighborhood to redistrict us out of CFHS after all these years.
