Halal slaughtered meat by which the animal is not stunned is cruel, opposed by the RSPCA and should have no place in British society. We do not want our children growing up thinking this is acceptable.

As it says in the text. Halal could be a menu option for the minority religion but the thought of sharia law by the backdoor is frightening indeed. Good luck to the parents fighting this.

no schools should be serving halal meat. It's barbaric and cruel. If schools want to serve halal meat they should take the pupils and parents to a nearby abattoir to view what halal killing involves. Then ask them if they want this.
