Easily the most in demand night at The Venue and it would be a shame to ruin this experience for the students as Kent Union is a Union for the students run by the students and The Venue has not had a Friday night in place with such success in the last 2 years.

TREND is easily one of the best nights in Canterbury, it has the best atmosphere and it's even better that us Christ Church students can get involved!

There's this guy that works for Student Republic every night at Trend and I really like him.. that's the only reason I go. He's just a proper sort. lol

there are dedicated nights for chart, rock and rnb at venue aswell as off campus. #trend is the only night that caters to house and one of the only events where dj's actually mix their own tracks. #savetrend

Trend is one of, if not the, best events in Canterbury. There are hardly any fights, and people go to have a good time. Without Trend and/or Student republic the night life in Canterbury will be appalling.

Student Republis is the most responsible student events organisers I have ever come across! Disassociating from student Republis would be a great loss for both students and the kent union!
