I ask our government leaders to please insist on prescription drug monitoring . This will help counteract abuse & save lives !

I live in Toronto Ontario and work as an addictions counsellor. I'm from marystown Nfld and the need for harm reduction programs and methadone programs, counsellors and treatment options on the island, especially burin peninsula are great. We need to get a handle on the drug abuse and save our family and friends, as well as innocent bystanders who are affected by the drug abuse. I hope this Rx monitoring is just one of may steps taken to take back control on this war in nfld.

I am a recovering Addict and currently enrolled in the Methadone Program. To me, this petition is important to gain a better control on the Drug Abuse going on in this world. Every bit of support helps :)
