Please consider this proposal. This makes sense for a healthy forest and Williams community.

I live here. I drink the water. I breathe the air. I hike the trails. PLEASE DO NOT clearcut or spray herbicides on this land. PLEASE select cut and allow seed trees to shade the ground and hold the soil in place. After the loggers leave, those of us living here will be left with the long-term effects. PLEASE manage this carefully. Thank you.

Please stop this plan! Right at the headwaters, this affects our entire community and so much wildlife!

Forest heath, community health and mitigation of climate change depends on forest practices that do not include clear cutting and herbicide use.
