I've often wondered why the Hunt Seat and Western divisions were not included. I am voting to include these very talented riders in the UPHA program as well.

My only wish is that I could compete if they did bring it in!

In horse shows, everyone should be able to compete. The exception being shows arranged for a certain breed. ie. American Saddle Bred, Morgan, Tennessee Walking Horses, etc. But excluding for equestrian competitions etc. NO!

Let all the youth have a chance at participating. Equitation is for all seats, and is heavily supported in all seats. It's a win win for all

While I understand that initially the UPHA Ribbons of Service was a joint initiative to promote Saddle Seat Riding and community service, I think it is time to expand the program. Bringing more riders into the fold only helps to expand the program and will promote saddle seat riding with its association with the program roots.

Growth in any industry can only be achieved by targeting as many Participants as possible, the horse industry is certainly no exception to that. By allowing hunt seat and western exhibitors to participate in this program you will expand the industry. Isn't it time to become inclusive?
