A number of your parents in my neighborhood have decided to not send their children to Shearwater because of the increasingly bad reputation, specifically the not addressing bullying by other children. I'm very disappointed about the direction the school had taken in recent years.

My children attended Shearwater, I have remained interested and I was allpalled by many head of schools decisions . Let's unify now and kick him out.

I fell for the panic and got the jab. Now a year later realising the wool was pulled over my eyes as the narrative has changed. Ive lived in Mullumbimby for 9 years. These teachers that stood their ground are owed an apology

I believe the school needs change…. We have pulled our daughter out of year 8 last week as she was feeling uninspired, she often told me she felt like she was in a state’s school and that we may as well send her to a state’s school rather then paying the fees. She was also cyber bullied, had death threats from other children in the school, was finding it hard to find true friends. Was surrounded in students vaping and sitting on their phones in the toilets. She said she was napping most days in class, as it was so boring, she was leaving lessons. She found the camps were no longer what they use to be, they lacked any stimulating activities, she said the students spend most of their time laying around in tents sleeping in and doing minimal activities. Where they use to walk and have days full of activities, the last camp lacked organisation and wasn’t at all fulfilling for the students. It me it’s obvious James has pushed his personal beliefs throughout Covid, he has discriminated against people, he is a poor representation of the school. My youngest still remains at the school, only because her teacher is amazing, otherwise we would have pulled her out too. It’s definitely time for a new head of school!!! We need someone who has a strong sense of what the schools core values are, its foundations and principles. Not another person pushing their own beliefs and opinions. The school needs fresh energy all the rules and regulations James has put in place only make the school feel less and less like a Steiner School and more like a state school….

Be nice to see the reputation and honour of this school be restored. As a potential parent would not consider this school under the current regime. May the true solution come forward for the best interests of all involved.

Steiner said "no jabs". The pro-jabs board and staff must resign as they have turned the school into a non-Steiner Pro-Jabs School.

Every member of a school community has the right to express their views and uphold human rights without fear of discrimination or retribution. In 2020 & 2021, HOS censored and bullied all parents & staff who expressed a deep desire for human rights to be upheld in the administration of mandates. No matter what the mandates were, it is unacceptable for a school principal to abuse the human rights of staff and students based on their beliefs, values or medical contraindications. I support the call for a review of this Steiner school principal's actions and urge swift action to address any past or discrimination against current or ex teachers and families, to ensure an inclusive school community for all. I also believe that if a leader truly leads with anthroposophical values then a "restorative" reconciliation process would have been carried out early 2022. Why wasn't it? Why do the current leaders and school management not practice what they preach????

Steiner himself warned that a vaccine will undermine humanity. This HOS is an instrument in the destruction of a once proud and prosperous school and should be let go.

As a former community member, part-time teacher, ex chair of the board and parent lender, I can only 100% agree with what Dean shares here. What an opportunity it was, to straighten your back and show the world you stand by your beliefs and core values. They didn't. It saddened me greatly. Some amazing teachers/mentors/friends were sacrificed in order to not rock the (funding) boat of the government. It was a slap in the face of Herr Steiner himself. I will sign this petition with glee.

Less power more accountability and transparency please. And I’m very disappointed HOS has not once rea her out to welcome us as we enrolled 1 week before lockdown started. How can he advocate tbst he is all about the students and families? And very sad to hear tbat deputy principal bagging “ stupid non vaxxers” in the staff quarters. All very very disappointing

He doesn’t work from an anthroposophical stamdpoint and is an aggressive uncaring man who doesn’t treat his staff with respect.

All 3 of my children went to Steiner schools. Surprised they layed down and complied and betrayed their own community. Not everyone was awake, hopefully waking up to this Scam now!

Keep going there needs to be accountability. The survival of Shear Water depends on it!

Pls bring back the soul of this school

Shearwater isn’t what it once was..

My boy lives in Brunz and he went to this school … he’s devastated that people he loved lost their jobs because they held true to their principles

Please let people live THEIR lives again
