It will be a huge mistake trying to remove our chaplain Daniel. Don't let your selfishness blurs our faith. Please don't.

How is it possible that no time can be allotted to meet and have a discussion with someone who is such a cornerstone to a huge commuity of faithful in our midst? How can this be??

This is why people keep living Catholic Church. Too much opacity. Why preaching something that you are not doing yourself?

i totally agree with you Nicholas. Joelle if you are not here to support the francophone community you don't have the right to be on this site and keep your nasty comments for yourself because you don't know how we struggle to put $84000 together thanks to Father Daniel

Joelle, first and foremost, nobody is making anybody sign anything. Second, have you read the title of this petition? "Keep Father Daniel...". So, i don't know why you are even here if you don't support the cause. But thanks for signing! There are so much arguments I can make about what you have said. Allow me to address a couple: (1) You said that the Archbishop has a reason behind his decision. I totally agree with you but Father Daniel had a 3 year contract with the archdiocese. If someone, out of the blue cancels a contract that you have with them, aren't you entitled to know why? And wouldn't you have every right to sue for breach of contract? And why would he refuse an audience with the Steering Commitee, his flock. (2) You say the francophone community was united and strong before Father Daniel and it will be even stronger when he leaves. Obviously, you do not see firthand the work of our chaplain and how the community has considerably evolved under his leadership. Because if you knew, you would be at the forefront of our efforts. There is so much more to be said about your comment but I'll stop here and pray that the Lord bless you and enlighten you!

I was raised Catholic, 99.9% of my family is Catholic. The way the religion is being delt with here in atlanta seems to be more of a business form money than the business for spiritual guidance we are to receive from our leaders in the Catholic church. Father Daniel is wonderful to listen to and maybe create competition to those higher. Disgusting ):

The Archbishop refuse to renew fr Daniel's visa for a reson that we don't know!!! Maybe for the goodness of the church and for the francophone community. So please, don't ask poeple to sign anything without knowing why...If father Daniel leave, the francophone community will survive without him. We were united and strong before he came, and we will be ever stronger after he leaves. We are children of God and He will never abandon us. We need to pray for fr Daniel so that he mission as priest of Jesus Christ grows...He is needed somewhere else too.He choose to follow Jesus so He need to go and preach the word where ever he is call to.So there is no "injustice" with the Archbishop's action.Fr Daniel NEED TO GO.
