Why can't us Irish recognise our own. Liverpool have John Lennon airport. Could we not honour the greatest rock musician Ireland ever produced by naming Cork Airport after him? What reason is good enough for not doing so. I'm not even old enough to have seen the man live and I think it's a disgrace.

I could not think of many better ways to pay tribute to a Man who was considered by Music Lovers at the absolute pinnacle of the artform in Blues Music. Whilst Rory garnered great accolades as a Blues & Rock Musician, he was at his core a truly great Blues Artist and in the few of very many there were none better. He wasa great Man and a tribute to the Spirit and Soul of the Irish People.
