I have a rant! Everyone that knows me knows how much I love my fur babies. Hell everyone knows I love animals more than I do people/humans and here is a PRIME EXAMPLE as to WHY. A lot of you may remember a photo that I posed of my 2 male kittens that I had taken to the ASPCA Mobile Unit to be neutered. The cost was $55 each and what I was told it included was the neuter and their shots. Okay sounds great right! So on March 22, 2016 my son and I got our babies in their travelers and took them to the mobile unit to drop them off to be neutered. I asked if I needed to sign anything? NO. I asked if they needed me to pay them now? No you can pay when you pick them up. Okay cool. Talked to someone that I knew for a few minutes and noticed the veterinarian that pulled up and I saw the sign on her with her name and I asked if she was the vet from Best Friends Veterinary and she said yes and I said okay great because she had those free clinics that I took my fur babies to for their shots. I THOUGHT they were in GOOD hands. I get a phone call that they are ready to be picked up and so we went to get them. I arrived and went to the door of the home and no one answered and then knocked on the door of the mobile unit. The door opened and a VERY nice woman greeted me again and was getting my paperwork together. While I was standing there I'm looking at baby Cooper and I notice something is different but I couldn't put my finger on it. Finally it dawned on me that he was MISSING HALF of his LEFT EAR!! I started to cry and the woman kept apologizing and was sorry that I wasn't told they were going to tip their ears. I asked her why would they do that to them when they're NOT FERAL? She told me that another female wrote it on their paper to ear tip them so I immediately called this female to ask her why. She told me that I needed to talk to Nancy because she said to do it. So I'm getting my paperwork and paying the fees and getting ready to get my babies
