Oppose the Renaming of James F. Byrnes High School Mascot, the "Rebels"

That is my school leave it alone. I don't care about the flag it's just a piece of cloth nut this is messing with my school the place we're I had the best memories of my childhood and the place I was proud to graduate from the place. It doesn't need to change and has never symbolized hatred. Hatred does not belong here don't turn it into something it has never been.

Changing the name isn't going to fix anything. All it's going to do is cause more problems

I have been born and raised in a Rebel. My grandparents and parents are Rebels. The NAACP is just stirring the pot and dragging out this argument that needs to cease at once. Rebel Nation.

The flag had reasons to be removed a schools mascot doesn't. Stop the outrageous demands.

I am very proud that my wife is a rebel and a graduate of James F Byrnes High School. I'm equally proud that all three of my children are rebels and graduates of James F Byrnes high school. My girls participated in band and colorguard and my son was a varsity football player. This name is synonymous with quality dedication and excellence. Don't be politically correct and cave to pressure from a minority group that simply wants make change for the sake of making change and score political points.

Let's continue to be able to yell, "Go Byrnes Rebels"

I myself did not graduate from Byrnes but two of my kids have so far. My daughter was a REBEL in the color guard and my two sons were and are a REBEL on the football field. I am very proud to call myself a REBEL mom. People need to worry about what needs to be fixed and not just starting these stupid arguments
