You want normal average working people to continue to work ! Well this bill should not of even been discussed ! One they need daycare ! And two early childhooeducation training is a must ! You start lowering wages you start getting people watch our children /grandchildren who just don't care and that are not trained for certain learning /behavior difficulties! Hello people , don't get me wrong on my next statement , but if our country can afford to help educate other countries children why are you even thinking about taking this away from our own ! Open your eyes and see that learning starts way before regular school and we need people with the skills and training to help working people to provide this ! Please stop this bill !

Shame on the government for doing this. Find another sector to cut into. Like Welfare. Us tax payers are actually paying taxis to bring children of limited income to daycares. So, in other words, we are paying for their taxis and paying for their daycare. Enough is enough already!

It's wonderful to have online petitions gathering signatures from people who care and understand what is being done to hard-working passionate women. I would like to suggest that in addition to this, everyone copies the preamble and shares a hard copy among friends, neighbors, colleagues. Once signatures are gathered on paper, give it to your MLA to present in legislature. I know for a fact that Jody Carr will collect and present for us.

The money needs to be taken from duplicate services and pure waste of leaving lights on and changing letterhead and replacing equipment and throwing away the replaced equipment . There are ways to save money that do not involve cutting funding to priority services.

Again government is cutting in the wrong places and affecting the care of our children. They try to stop unlicensed daycares but are pushing parents to go this way because of cuts to licensed daycare causing hire prices. Daycare cost is already expensive for families and if those cost need to go up that will hurt many families in NB.

It will hurt a lot of parents & kids if the parent are force to stop sending there kids to Daycare because of the government for cutting a lot of Daycares ... give them a break ..

I am an owner-operator, administrator and educator of a Childcare Centre in Miramichi!! This is so wrong what Brian Gallant and the Librals are doing to is!!

The Provincial Government should be ashamed of themselves by taking much needed income from daycares. As is usual in this Province, some elected official was roused from a nap in the New Brunswick Legislature with a once in every four year"lightbulb moment" and figured that they would put forth an ill-thought, half baked plan to add their 2 cents into bringing down the Provincial debt by taking funds from Daycares.....yes.....those are the people who care for our most precious children. Our most illustrious elected members of the New Brunswick a Liberal Party have yet again with their superior vision and clarity, made the banner move to reduce the income of daycare owner/operators all in the name of fiscal responsibility to bring down the provincial debt. This is the debt that was created by many elected officials of both political parties, over many years, all of which was caused by many "lightbulb moments" and "knee-jerk" ideas and reactions. Bravo to our Glorious Leaders for continuing to punish those who cannot defend themselves....our youth and the elderly!!

Sa la pu de bon sens! Ils coupent toutes partout pis après ils echoeurent le monde pour que sa alle travailler. Ils veulent monter les tarifs des garderies mais comment qu'ils veulent qu'on paye sa quand le salaire n'est pas la. On a des enfants qui on des besoins pis le coût de la vie est assez cher comme c la. Reveillez vous. Politique a marde.

I believe in early childhood education as a stepping stone for the mental & social well being of our children, who will someday lead this country. As a working mother of 2 and a average income family, ... prices are barely affordable now, this loss in funding will cause a increase in fees for parents, in which will initially force parents to find other alternatives which may not be as beneficently to our childrens growth & development. It is the working parents ...that are the working poor. Such a shame of lack of support :(
