Any solar in essex should be small-scale, carefully-sited and for individual use. Essex already "contributes" by the carbon it sequesters naturally in forest and farmland...which supports the beautiful wild and working landscapes that we all love and cherish. Let's not give up one of our greatest assets!

The Essex Town Board needs to act and VOTE on a resolution on Solar Panels!

Seems ill-advised and in conflict with the community. Essex is a small town devoid of such commercial efforts, and it would detract from the city's charm. It devalues the city and provides negligible value to the state.

I am all for solar energy, but do not think this is the best place to put this project.

This solar farm has the potential to look really ugly. Also, it can't possibly be the highest and best use for this location.

I suggest the Town or County enact regulations and vote a moratorium until they are enacted

Solar farms have popped up all across Maine some are away from scenic views others are not. Solar is the way to go but should be placed strategically.

Stop proposal 22 to stop the proposed solar farm!!! It is far to class to a historic village, lake and can disturbed the environment, wild life, water flow and just plain ugly and will not benefit the community that much.

There must be a better place for this solar field.
